Throwback from Previous Years on the Blog

2023: The Last Gifts of the Universe by Rory August – originally self-published, this one got picked up by Del Rey UK.

2022: Interpreter of Maladies by Jhumpa Lahiri – One of my favorite authors to return to who writes about the Indian immigrant experience.

2021: What we carry by Kalyn Fogarty – a story about motherhood and loss.

2020: The Mother Code by Carole Stivers – a post-pandemic story when children are given to AI to survive.

2019: The Psychology of Time Travel by Kate Mascarenhas – I enjoyed this story about female time travellers.
