Who is Armed with A Book?

I am Kriti, the person who owns this website.This is a personal blog/portfolio about my experiences as a learner and teacher.

What personal data I collect and why I collect it

There are three forms on this website:

(1) The Contact form: This collects your name and email which are mandatory fields in the form. The message is also collected. When you submit the form, I get an email. The data is stored in the wordpress plugin used to build that form.

(2) Subscription form: The subscription form is found only on the home page. It is built using Jetpack and uses your email to send a message when a new article come out. You can unsubscribe anytime. Other ways to subscribe/unsubscribe is through the Follow button in the footer through WordPress.

All form data is deleted on a yearly basis at the beginning of the year by me.

(3) Comments: You may comment on blog posts if you wish to. To do you, you must use your WordPress, Google, Twitter or Facebook account. Name and email must be filled out. This and the comment itself is the only things that is stored in the wordpress plugin used.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Analytics

All data is stored in the database of the WordPress plugin used to build the form. For contact forms, the data is deleted every six months. Subscription settings are changed automatically by the user. Forms are also checked through an automated spam detection service.

Cookies

Cookies are small pieces of data stored on your device that help load the site faster if you have visited it before.

Your data is not shared with anyone.
