Writing in the sun

Writing in the sun

I don’t often stay home and find a seat on the counter where the sunlight is shining on my books and notebook. I love the sun shining on me.

The time window when that is possible is a small one.

I have always loved indoor spaces where I can get sunshine on my stationary.

I remember during my school years, I often sat by the window seat in my room so that the sunlight could shine on my books and I could often look up and have this light dazzle me.

It’s been so many years since I have sat at the spot but that habit has not gone away: to find a place to sit and occasionally look at the sun.

It is always so warm and welcoming here. The Sun in December in Canada especially. 🙂

I feel this sense of peace that the rain or wind or snow cannot give me.

With the sunlight shining on my notebook and casting shadows of my pen, I could just sit and write forever.

Alas! It moves away but it leaves me sitting doing my work because that feeling of peace stays longer…
