Buddy Read of the Month
New/Upcoming Release
New books on the TBR we are excited about
Non-Bookish Noteworthy
Ariel – News Tower – a resource management game where you manage a newspaper in New York City in the early 1930s! Art Deco, breaking news, dodging the mob and deciding how much propaganda to print– it’s a great time!
Kriti – These cool book review bookmarks from KarinasKorner on Etsy. If you like reading journals check out this article on How to start a reading journal.
Throwback from Previous Years on the Blog
2023: Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë – A reread of a classic and a fantastic book discussion!
2022: Locke and Key Netflix (2020-22) – A show I adore. YA Fantasy done so well!
2021: Bewilderment by Richard Powers – A sad story about a father and son. I am excited to read more by Richard Powers. Also the covers of his book are amazing!
2020: Girl by Edna O’Brien – A book study like never undertaken before.
2019: The Braid by Laetitia Colombani – Three women, all connected by hair. A translated work that is now a movie I need to watch.

Did you have a favorite book in September? What are you reading in October?
The News Tower sounds great 🙂 Same for both of those TBR picks I am curious to read Richard Powers! I hope you both have a great reading month in October!
Thank you! I hope you do! Anything in your September reading that stood out?
Thanks 🙂 The one that stood out the most to me in September was the sci-fi graphic novel Descender, Vol.1 & looking forward to continuing the other volumes.
