A hyped up book in my corner of Booksta, I was very happy to find out that The Raven Scholar is absolutely worth the hype. The murder mystery, the intrigue, the cast, and the world itself were all phenomenal. Can’t wait for book 2!

Ten Incarnations of Rebellion by Vaishnavi Patel | Goodreads
This was my anticipated read last month, and this powerful book is still sticking with me even after I finished the last page! An immersive alternate history with poignant themes of rebellion and the costs and sacrifices of resistance, I’m very thankful to have read this book.
Game

Witcher 3 – Ten years after its release date, I had this game in my library and never finished. I love the folklore and the monster element of this world, plus all the exploring that happens in the game. Better late than never!

You know we adored it so much that this book features three times in this wrap up! The Raven Scholar is everything I love in Fantasy – a story with annotations, history and folklore of the world, smart trials to test contenders, family disputes, mystical beings, succinct magic, well thought out characters… The list really does go on.

Linghun by Ai Jiang | Goodreads
I am a sucker for grief stories and this one with a horror twist is just fantastic! People move into this town called Home in Canada where the houses are haunted and you can get someone you lost to haunt your newly acquired home.
