Contact Kriti at Armed with A Book
Hi there! Thanks for visiting Armed with A Book. I love connecting with authors, publishers, and fellow readers. If you’re interested in working with me, please read the details below carefully—there are different paths depending on who you are and what kind of book you’re contacting me about.
How to Contact Me
📢 For Publishers & Publicists
I’m especially interested in connecting with publishers and PR professionals who are looking for a long-term partnership—those who enjoy sharing their titles throughout the year and, when possible, offering opportunities to interview their authors.
I love getting to know people over time, not just through one-off pitches. If that kind of ongoing relationship appeals to you, I’d be glad to hear from you.
Please reach out directly via email:
📧 kriti@armedwithabook.com
- PR sheets are welcome to help me assess fit.
- Pre-approved NetGalley, BookFunnel, or BookSirens links are welcome if available—I’ll download if I choose to move forward.
I aim to respond within 5–7 business days.
Please see Blurb Use Policy section below.
✍️ For Indie & Self-Published Authors
I’m currently accepting upcoming releases only, with publication dates in 2026.
Books already published before 2025 are not under consideration at this time.
I’m especially interested in hearing from authors who have taken a moment to look at the blog, get a feel for what I read, and share why they think their book might be a good fit for me. I know writing a book and promoting it are very different kinds of work, and I don’t expect perfection—just thoughtfulness.
If your book qualifies and aligns with what I review, I’d love to hear from you. Please email me at:
📧 kriti@armedwithabook.com
Note that I receive over 500 requests each year, and while I’d love to support everyone, I only have the time and capacity to read and feature a small number of books that align closely with my reading interests and the rhythm of my life.
- PR sheets or one-page summaries are welcome to help me get a sense of your book.
- Please do not attach a full digital copy of your book to your initial message. Emails with unsolicited files are automatically disregarded. Also emails sent as part of mailing lists that I did not sign up for will be discarded. Please read this article on author-blogger relationships.
- Pre-approved NetGalley, BookFunnel, or BookSirens links are welcome if available — I’ll choose to access them if the project is a fit.
I aim to respond within 5–7 business days. I read every email but cannot guarantee a response unless the book is a fit for me.
Please see Blurb Use Policy section below.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

- Which genres do you review? Or how do I know that you are likely to review my book?
Literary fiction, speculative fiction, cozy fantasy, parenting/memoir, and books with strong emotional or social themes. You can get a feel for my taste through recent reviews. My interests vary from time to time. Please take a look at my Goodreads profile first, to get a better idea of the books I am interested in.
- When can I expect to hear from you?
I aim to respond within 5–7 business days.
- What’s your review timeline?
I prioritize upcoming releases and titles I’ve committed to. Due to volume, I may not be able to respond to or cover every submission.

No. All reviews are unpaid and posted at my discretion. I do not participate in affiliate or paid review programs.
If I accept your review request, you have to provide me with a complimentary copy of the book.
- How long will it take you to review my book?
Honestly, there is no way to know! Reading and reviewing is a hobby and I pick up books based on my mood.
- What formats do you accept?
ARCs, finished copies, digital (EPUB preferred), and audiobooks (Spotify only) if codes are available. I am based in Canada.
- Will you let me know once you have read my book?
I post reviews to Goodreads after I read the book. If I post the review to my blog or want to host you for an author interview, I will reach out to you via email.
