I haven’t met anyone so far this year who has had a smooth time with COVID. Whether it was the restrictions around seeing family and friends, adjusting to working from home, health concerns due to the pandemic or changes in employment, this year has given us tons of reasons to stress. But through all this, we have all been able to do something to feel better. Carve a little bit of time in our lives to write something bookish and reading related that we are proud of.
I asked the book blogging community on Twitter to share one post from this year that they look back at with pride and I got an overwhelming response. I am happy to bring all of them to you in this article. I have divided the posts into five types – important bookish issues and knowledge, bookish ideas, starter guides, discussions and recommendations. Feel free to scroll to the section that interests you the most (or check them all out).
Each book blogger put a lot of effort into these posts and I may not have had time to read them all. Connect with the ones that resonate with you and make the community stronger.

If you are a book blogger yourself, know that the reality is that the posts that we love and work on the hardest sometimes aren’t the ones that get the most views – so be kind to yourself and celebrate the hard work that you put in! Your thoughts and opinions matter – don’t stop sharing! It is not always possible to find time to write so take pride in the work that you have already done, like Alak from thebookxpert (Twitter, Instagram) does with her Are books still relevant today? from last year. 🙂
If your post was part of this list – thank you for showcasing your content! If you would like to support me, connect with me on Twitter and Instagram and follow my blog or share my posts with your social network. All my reviews can be found on the Book Review Index. I love buddy reading and collaborating on my blog and am happy to host you another time.
Thank you so much for reading and supporting book bloggers! Help spread the word about the good work in the community by sharing this post.
